Retail Tenant Improvement (TI)
A tenant improvement project for a small neighborhood gelato shop with family oriented service, located in Phinney Ridge, Seattle.
For this TI, the modest budget and quick project timeline, is mitigated by design-build approach. After designing a general layout, the details are solved on site during construction. Main ideas that guided the design are based around clean, family friendly, inviting and functional space that blends well with the fabric of the neighborhood.
The open floor plan with neutral colors, is elevated with the use of handmade concrete tiles, a refurbished barn door on a steel track, and hand troweled milestone countertops.
